The dates are in there somewhere.

Every week, families get a flood of messages from schools, teachers, coaches and class groups, in a dozen places. The one line that matters is buried on page 3, and keeping track falls on whoever reads it all.

1

Scattered everywhere. Email, paper flyers, team apps, group chats and the district website, each with part of the picture.

2

Easy to miss. A forgotten permission slip, the wrong pickup time on a minimum day, spirit day with no costume.

3

One parent carries it. Copying dates into a calendar by hand, then telling everyone else what's coming.

Send it to Bellnote. That's the whole job.

No typing dates into a calendar. Bellnote reads the message, works out what needs doing and for which kid, and keeps it all up to date as changes come in.

1

Send it in

Forward an email, take a photo of a flyer, share a screenshot, or paste a text. Or connect the sources you choose, so it happens on its own.

Bellnote reads it

It finds every date, deadline, thing to bring and payment, pins each to the right kid, and merges duplicates when the same news arrives twice.

3

Your family sees it

One calendar and to-do list for both parents, a short morning brief, a heads-up tonight for tomorrow, and your phone's calendar kept in sync.

Built for the way school life actually works.

Bellnote does more than collect dates. It knows your kids' schools, notices problems before they happen, and tells you what to get ready.

Knows your school

Pick your kid's school from more than 100,000 in the US directory. Bellnote finds the school and district calendars and the bell schedule on their websites, so days off and short days are already there.

  • No-school days, minimum days and early releases
  • The school day's hours on Today
  • Calendar changes picked up automatically

Homework, kid by kid

Snap the class's weekly homework sheet. Bellnote turns each assignment into its own item on the day it's due, grouped under each kid, so you can see at a glance what's left tonight.

  • One item per assignment, on its due day
  • Tick it off when it's done
  • Tomorrow's homework in the evening brief

Catches clashes, and who's driving

Two pickups at the same time, or across town with no time to get there? Bellnote spots it from the drive time and asks who's taking whom. The driver gets a reminder before they leave.

  • Warns about overlapping pickups and drop-offs
  • Assign a driver for each event
  • A reminder for the parent who's driving

Ask, and get an answer with its source

"What does Maya need for the field trip?" Ask in plain words. Bellnote answers from your own calendar and recent messages, and shows where it found it.

  • Answers only from your family's own messages
  • Every answer links back to its source
  • When it isn't sure which kid, it asks

Forward any email

Your family gets its own Bellnote address. Forward school emails, attachments and all, or set up automatic forwarding from Gmail.

Snap a flyer

Take a photo of the flyer, the homework sheet or the fridge calendar. Bellnote reads it like a parent would.

Class groups and team texts

Share a message from any chat, or link the WhatsApp class groups you choose. Only the groups you pick, and the text is never stored.

Morning and evening briefs

What's on today, each morning. Each evening: tomorrow's short days, early starts, and what to bring, pay or hand in.

Both parents, one calendar

Invite your partner and you both see the same calendar and to-dos. Anyone can tick things off.

Your phone's calendar, in sync

Events appear in the calendar you already use, and update when plans change.

Changes update, duplicates merge

When practice moves or a game is cancelled, the event is updated. The same news from two places shows up once, with both sources.

Home screen widgets

The next thing coming up, or the next thing to do, right on your home screen, on iPhone and Android.

Forms, links and payments

The sign-up form or payment page from the message is one tap away on the to-do, and past-due items stay in front of you until they're done.

Private by design, because it's about your kids.

Bellnote handles school messages, so it treats them with care. These aren't settings to find. They're how it's built.

Encrypted with your family's own key. Kids' details, names and message content are encrypted separately for each family.

Nothing read without your say. Bellnote reads an inbox or chat group only after you agree for that source, and you can turn it off any time.

Original messages deleted within 30 days. WhatsApp message text is never stored at all.

No kids' photos or birthdates, ever. Each kid gets an emoji instead.

Never sold, never used to train AI, no ads. Lock the app with a code or your fingerprint, and delete your account from Settings whenever you like.

Questions parents ask

What does Bellnote do?

It turns the messages you get from schools, teachers, coaches and activity groups into one shared family calendar, a to-do list and a short daily brief. You send it the message; it works out the dates, deadlines, things to bring, homework and payments, and which kid each one is for.

How do messages get to Bellnote?

Whichever way is easiest: forward an email to your family's Bellnote address, take a photo of a flyer, share a screenshot or a message from any app, or paste text. You can also turn on automatic forwarding from Gmail, or link WhatsApp class groups you choose.

Does Bellnote read my email or chats on its own?

Only if you ask it to, and only for the source you pick. Before Bellnote reads anything automatically, you give your consent for that specific source, and you can withdraw it at any time. For WhatsApp, it only reads the groups you choose for each kid, or the messages you forward to it, and it never stores the message text.

Is my family's information safe?

Your kids' details, names and message content are encrypted with a key unique to your family. Original messages are deleted within 30 days, and kids' photos and birthdates are never stored. Your data is never sold, never used for advertising and never used to train AI models.

What if Bellnote gets something wrong?

Bellnote uses AI to read messages, and it can make mistakes. When it isn't sure, it puts the item in Review for you to check, or asks which kid it's for. Every item shows the message it came from, and you can edit or remove anything. For anything important, check against the original.

Can both parents use it?

Yes. Invite your partner from Settings and you'll both see the same calendar, to-dos and homework. Either of you can send messages in or tick things off, and each of you chooses which notifications you get.

Does it work with my kids' school?

Bellnote includes more than 100,000 US schools from the federal school directory. Pick your kid's school and Bellnote looks for its calendar and bell schedule on the school and district websites. If your school isn't listed, you can add it, and anything the school sends you works no matter where it's from.

Which phones does it work on?

iPhone and Android, with the same features on both, plus home screen widgets. Bellnote is coming to the App Store and Google Play soon. Email us for early access.

How much does it cost?

Bellnote is free to download and use, with no ads.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, go to Settings and choose Delete my account. If you created the family, its calendar and data are deleted too. You can also ask us by email from the support page.
